In 2017, the number of decisions on building permits increased by 4.2%.
Construction project locations
At the preliminary stage of determining the location of a construction project with an increased number of requests: for determining the land development conditions (increase by 5%), for determining the location of a public purpose investment (increase by 11.5%), for issuing an urban opinion (increase by 201%), more decisions were issued. Increased activities allowed in 2017 to increase the number of issued decisions on determining the location of a public purpose investment by 15.5% and the number of construction permits by 4.2%. The number of issued construction permits was also maintained at the level of 2016.
Investment effects
In 2017, a total of 1,065 construction projects were delivered, including:
- 215 infrastructure facilities (utilities networks: water supply, sewage, heat, power, and telecommunications, as well as road structures)
- 19 service buildings
- 15 commercial buildings
- 14 industrial and warehouse buildings
- 11 office buildings.
In 2017, the largest office construction projects included:
- the Bałtyk office and service building at ul. Roosevelta 22; the investor was Sophia; the usable area of the building is almost 13,000 m2
- Zespół Jednostek Skarbowych at ul. Dolna Wilda 80. Its investor was the Tax Administration Chamber, and the usable area of the building is almost 20 thousand m2.
