Municipal property
The value of the property of the City of Poznań in 2017 amounted to PLN 20.1 billion.
The share in the value of fixed and current assets of the City is located in 4 categories of municipal organisational units, i.e.:
- budget entities, including the Poznań City Hall (92.2%)
- budgetary establishments (5.1%)
- public health care institutions (1.8%)
- cultural institutions (0.9%).
Budget entities (without the Poznań City Hall), i.e. units handling spatial planning, real estate register, municipal management, public order and security, education and social welfare, had fixed and current assets of PLN 4.9 billion. The highest share in the net value of assets of these entities is found in:
- civil engineering structures (47.3%)
- land (28.2%)
- investments – fixed assets under construction, e.g. constructed or renovated facilities (11.1%)
- buildings and premises (9.2%).
Budgetary establishments dealing in municipal management and physical activity had fixed and current assets in the amount of over PLN 1 billion, including:
- 64.5% – buildings and premises
- 15.6% – land
- 13.4% – civil engineering structures.
Public health care institutions had fixed and current assets in the amount of PLN 365.1 million, including:
- 53.1% – buildings and premises
- 12.4% – land
- 9% – short-term receivables – as current assets
- 6.3% – tools, instruments, movables and equipment.
Cultural institutions had the lowest value of fixed and current assets in 2017 – PLN 181 million:
- 59.7% – buildings and premises
- 17.9% – land
- 6.6% – machinery and technical equipment
- 4.8% – cash.
